A traditional fruit loaf that works brilliantly with cheddars and Lincolnshire Poacher in particular. Not as sweet as fruit cake, Plum Bread is a very traditional Lincolnshire cheese accompaniment and this particular recipe can be traced back the Slater Eyre bakery in Louth from 1834.
