Standard Delivery Details

We offer in store collection, local delivery, and nationwide courier options.

At Checkout, you can choose when and where you want your order delivered, with cost calculated by option.

Collection is Free of charge. Carbon free Local bike deliveries are charged a flat fee to 6.5km (by road):  £7.00

For all areas outside our local postcodes, deliveries are made by APC Overnight Couriers on Tuesday-Friday inclusive, anywhere in mainland England, Wales and Central Scotland.  Delivery is charged at £8.00 flat fee per order under 5kg (most orders are under this weight).  Please note that each separate delivery address is treated as a separate order. Multiple orders to the same address that exceed the weight or courier pack sizing may constitute an additional cost.

If you require a cheese delivery to the Highlands, Northern Ireland, offshore UK Islands addresses please see ‘Delivery to Islands and the Scottish Highlands’ below - additional charges and timescales apply.

You can choose delivery for a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, either straight away or some time in the future. (We are able to arrange for a Saturday delivery, however, may be a  surcharge made by ACP Courier which we will need to take a separate payment for. Please call us on 0161 881 1100 to arrange a Saturday Delivery) 

It is essential that you notify us of a ‘safe-place’ to leave the parcel if you are not in - without this the courier may not seek an alternative delivery point and will return the consignment to their delivery depot.

Your delivery should arrive before 4.00 pm. If it doesn’t and there are no notes on your order tracking, it is usually quicker to firstly ring APC Overnight on 0800 37 37 37 quoting the tracking (consignment) number emailed with your order fulfilment. Please Note:

At busy periods (for example Christmas) delivery may occasionally take an additional day, and orders are packed to maintain quality for 48hrs.

We will always endeavour to resolve any issues quickly and to the customers full satisfaction, however Chorlton Cheesemongers are unable to accept responsibility for undelivered orders where you have not given an alternative/safe place for the delivery. Timed deliveries are not possible and if you are not in at the time of delivery, the courier will only leave your order in your stated alternative/safe place if instructed. If they are unable to do so, it is the customer/recipient responsibility to re-arrange delivery.

Your cheese is appropriately wrapped for the delivery period (up to 48 hours), but please refer to your enclosed cheese care instructions and refrigerate as appropriate once it arrives.

Delivery to Islands and the Scottish Highlands

Chorlton Cheesemongers Ltd regrets that its standard next-day delivery service is not available to the areas listed below.

2-5 day delivery is available for online orders for the following postcodes. Please ring Chorlton Cheesemongers on 0161 881 1100 for more details or to arrange delivery.

·       AB 37, 38, 40-56.

·       IV 1-28, 30-37, 40-56, 63.

·       KW 1-3, 5, 6-17, 27-28.

·       PA 20-25, 36-49, 61-76.

·       PH 15-26, 30-44, 49, 50.

Delivery is not available for online orders to the following postcodes and areas:

·       HS 1-9.

·       ZE 1-3.

·       Isle of Man.

·       Isle of Wight (postcodes PO 30-41).

·       Isles of Scilly

·       Channel Islands.

·       Northern Ireland (BT postcodes).
