This a very traditional West Country cheddar, full, smooth and creamy. The Trethowan brothers have done the reverse of cheddar makers of old who used to make Caerphilly’s, a cheese ready in 3 month, in order to support themselves while older cheddars matured. The Trethowans are renowned for their great Gorwydd Caerphilly now joined by this beautiful cheddar. became ready.
