La Perla Mozzarella

The buffalo mozzarella DOP from Campania by Perla del Mediterraneo is well-known all over the world, considered by many to be the finest available. Buffalo breeds are located all along the Cilentana coast and they are milked daily. The mozzarella produced is a fresh 'pasta filata' cheese characterised by a white colour with an elastic core, that is hand worked into the white ‘pearl’. Very popular on the regions Margherita Pizza, this cheese is equally stunning on its own as the centre of a fresh salad.
