Join us at Chorlton Cheesemongers for a full day’s practical cheese making workshop.

With tuition from a professional cheesemaker you will be guided through the practical steps of cheese making, from starter cultures to rennet, to curds and whey, to draining and moulding, to finally producing your very own hard cheese. We will then look after your cheese, mature it up and send it on to you when it is ready. You will also get the opportunity make a fresh cheese, such as paneer, that you can take home that day.

Throughout the day you will learn about the science of cheese making and discover how this simplest of foods has become an essential part of our cultural food heritage.

The day will be limited to only ten participants so you are assured of plenty of hands on practical cheese making and personal advice to help you produce a unique cheese.
