This cheese has become a modern British classic, holding its own against its French counterpart. Made with milk from Montbeliarde cows (renowned for its richness) Baron Bigod can breakdown into the gooeyist of cheeses - unctious and packed with fresh flavours. Using the natural heat from the cows milk to start the process early in the morning, a slow, gentle make is followed by 8 weeks of cave-condition maturing. A very popular and regular best seller with us.
