A Part Time Christmas Cheesemonger Role at Altrincham Market
We’re looking to work with a friendly individual who likes serving customers to give them an exceptional experience when visiting our market stall in Altrincham.
No experience is necessary, as full training will be given. However, we’d be interested in hearing about the time you may have worked in customer facing roles or with food or even if you just really love food.

About this role:
We are looking to fill a part time role, from early December until 23rd. The number of days are variable but you will beed to be available for the bulk of the days from 13th -23rd (not Monday's).
The hours are varied but are between 8am to 3pm or 4pm (Sundays 9.30-4.30).
You will be joining an existing team and we can offer a degree of flexibility with shift patterns, so please do talk to us if you have any existing commitments.
You will be engaged on a Zero hours contract. The pay rate will be above National Living wage.
Tasks and activities in role include:
- Preparation of stall - setting up Cheese counter, re-stocking, cleaning.
- Serving Customers - finding out and fulfilling customer requirements, advising on cheese and complementary products.
- Cutting and wrapping cheeses, preparing customer orders
- Assisting with opening and closing tasks, daily cleaning and cheese care.
- Simple daily cashing up and ordering (for market)
Please note - The stall is outside (undercover) and you will be potentially working at times in low temperatures so appropriate clothing should be worn.
